Women's Studies Center- IUG held a workshop entitled " The Research Priorities in Women's Issues", in the presence of Prof. Mohammed Abushgair Dean of Faculty of Education, Prof. Sanaa Aboudagga – SHE-GE project manager; furthermore, representatives of Ministry of Women affair, Ministry of Culture, and Faculty of education at Al Azhar University and Al Aqsa University.
In his speech, Prof. Elian Al houli Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education welcomed the attendees and referred to the centres of the Faculty of Education, especially the Women's Studies Center and its role in enhancing the status of women in society in various aspects of life.
Dr Khitam Al-Sahhar, Director of Women's Studies Center, pointed to the Center and explained its main objectives and activities.
Dr Wael Al-Dayea, Director BERC project, highlighted "SDGs – 5th Goal, Gender Equality" of the UN and reviewed several important Palestinian national statistics for women in several areas, including public life, education, health and labour.
