Women's Studies center (WSC) has completed the two training programs entitled "Gender policy papers"
Women's Studies center (WSC) at the Islamic University of Gaza, IUG, has completed the activities of two training programs entitled " Gender policy papers " within the framework of the APPEAR funded project titled: Strengthening Higher Education Capacities in Palestine for Gender Equality – (SHE_GE). The first training program was attended by 20 representatives of civil society organizations in the Gaza Strip, and the second training was attended by 15 representatives from local higher education institutions. Each training program was held for over a period of 3 days.

Prof. Sanaa Aboudgga manager of the SHE_GE project, inaugurated the training programs and mentioned more information about (SHE_GE) project and its outputs and activities. Moreover, Dr. Somya Saima, Director of WSC attended the inauguration and talked about the WSC mission and its main objectives, activities and services.

The aim of this training was to strengthen the participants skills in developing policy papers I the field of Gender and women issues in Palestine. The participants engaged in different activities t be familiar with the policy paper structure and content. Moreover, they were introduced to the data collection methods.
